Do I need special equipment?

Nope! A self-filmed smartphone video is perfect. 

Will my video be public?

Only with your consent. Winning videos may be featured.

What happens if I submit late?

Submissions must be received by the deadline — no exceptions.

Will my argument be on behalf of Prosecution or Defense?

You choose which side you wish to advocate for.

How long does my closing argument need to be?

Your closing argument should be a maximum of 8 minutes.

What do I need to include in my closing argument?

You will be evaluated on your ability to persuasively argue the facts of the case and analyze the facts against the elements of the offense.

Can we use AI to assist us?

No you’re closing arguments will be screened for AI use and any AI detections will automatically disqualify you.
