Uniting for Impact: Advancing Survivor-Centered Justice Through Statewide Partnership

Regional and statewide coordination is critical to elevating the voices of survivors across California. While each District Attorney’s Office leads its own victim coalition efforts, strengthening partnerships across counties allows us to expand that impact—while continuing to support the vital work of our nonprofit and victim advocacy partners. This shared vision began with the Empower + Resilience Project presented by the Placer County District Attorney’s Office at the 2024 California District Attorneys Association Annual Conference, and continues forward as a statewide call to action for 2026.

Building on that momentum, the Placer County District Attorney’s Office and the Sacramento County District Attorney’s Office are proud to co-sponsor this year’s Advocacy Day—joined by two new regional partners, the Riverside County District Attorney’s Office and the San Bernardino County District Attorney’s Office—creating a unified platform to bring agencies, organizations, and survivor-centered voices together at the Capitol.

Participation Process:
All District Attorney’s Offices should coordinate directly with their assigned regional lead for participation. Community-based organizations and partners must register through their local District Attorney’s Office to be included.

This collaborative approach ensures strong regional coordination and a unified statewide presence.

Thank you for your commitment to representing and uplifting survivors across California—we look forward to standing alongside you.
